hi,
ive been tryin to use the 2IC to set up patrol for my sub fleets. ive managed to get the 2IC to set up fleets with 3 subs them but theres a problem with where the 2IC wants to send them all.
it created 10 fleets but for some strange reason it wants to send them all to patrol the same two hexes (35/36) which are off the SW coast of africa. i eventually want to have a lot more that 10 fleets on patrol so a way to automate this usin the 2IC would be a great help.
this got me thinkin that if the 2IC is doin this crazy stuff for me, what if i were playin as the allies, i assume the AI would be makin the same crazy decisions.
just wondering what logic the AI in SAS uses for patrol/objective selections? i realise this aint just a SAS problem, almost all strategic type games have similar AI problems.
can anything be done to improve the AI in regards to missions destinations?
