Another question (I know, I'm making too many questions -- but it's just I can't wait any more for my copy of SAS -- and instead I still will have to wait loooong: Italian mail service is known for being as fast as a WWI sub low on batteries):

Is there a complete listing of ships, subs, aircraft and port locations that are included in the game?

Cheers

Well You may be lucky and they could have taken pity on the far flung outposts like ourselves and they could already be on their way ;)(I live in hope )

It will be interesting to see wether Italy or NZ gets it first

If it does, I´m counting on your basic human decency not to rub it into our faces until we get our copies.

After we get our copies, it shall be my pleasure to stomp you into the virtual dust in a PBEM game if you do rub it into our faces.;)

HB - Re ships and aircraft. I was going to add in some appences to the manual; but I was worried it was over large already, and there are upwards of 200 ship classes and over 400 aircraft.

I'll consider creating a list of these ships and aircraft, with data, and putting it out as a separate pdf. No promises when as yet, but the idea has gone into the melting pot ;)

Note that the data in pdf if we do it would be historical of course; whereas the data you see in game for enemy ships can be deliberately innacurate - I"ve tried to create some FOW - you get more and better enemy intel the longer you play against the enemy and have more sightings of particular ships. Eg the US player could well think at first that the Yamato had 16 inch guns.

Re ports - the scenario notes list those currently in the scenario. The campaign creator lists the full set available for a given theatre. Not sure if it's of value to separately list them. I'll think about that.

1. That would be extremely helpful... The sooner the better ;) -- Why not making that list an Excel file, so we shipbuilding buffs could work on the data?

2. If it's in the campaign creator, that would be enough.

OT -- Crocky: let's see who will get his copy last. I bet I will be the one :(
