What happened to all the old posts?

I know they did not make it to the new forums but were they archived somewhere?
There was a LOT of tasty info in them so if there is a way to resurrect them, even
read-only, it would be a real boon.

AFAIK, they were vaporized when the server crashed. We even had to repost the scenarios for WCDB as they had disappeared as well.
