If one wanted to use this game as a companion to the great europa series of board games, is it possible to play the med scenario and the Atlantic scenario, while editing both to reflect the changing circumstances. Reinforcements, ship and aircraft transfers etc. Is there an editor at all?

There is an editor, yes. As explained on a separate thread, SAS does not operate by fixed reinforcement schedules - it is much more dynamic.

I think what Tolerant wanted to know is, can you edit savegames of a game in progress?
For example, if, 6 months into the game, you have some ships in Gibraltar on the Atlantic map, can you edit the savegames to remove them there and add them to Gibraltar in the Med game?

The goal of swapping resources around like that is something I would want to do properly as part of an expanded theatre that say included the Med and the Atlantic. This would be down the track a bit.

what comes next ? Sup at Sea WW1 or ww2 ver 2 ( or 1.01etc ) ?
Will you intend to release ongoing patches to owners going forward as you find the inevitable (although very minor) unanticipated 'features' and or get round to all those things which would have been nice (such as air/sub minelaying) but 'missed the cut' for the launch version.
My personal view if pos is regular small patches rather than single release which would be longer apart.
I know from a previous communication that you always said that the problem was where to draw the line.

The present plans are, after SAS-WW2 is released, to work on SAS-WW1 while at the same time keeping both the WW1 and WW2 editions updated with the same features through future engine upgrades.
Thanks.
