I launch TEN AAW missile to one Rafale!! I got out of ammo before I get a kill of one!!

How do you guys get better tactics against them?

I played this scenario before the patch and I got even with the Typhoons but now it simply out of question

Any tips??

I haven't played it for awhile but in general terms; In 19.01 improvements have been made between 'stealth' and LO aircraft like the Rafale. In 19.01 the Rafale will be slightly easier to kill. Even though the Rafale isnt a "stealth" aircraft when you combine its low RCS and its increadable ECM then it will be hard to kill with radar guided missiles. Also FC/NWP does take into account target aspect. So head-on or tail shots present a very small target while side shots give you the biggest target. So on any of the new LO or stealth aircraft radar guided missiles are almost useless while IR missiles have a slightly better chance. So yes, if you pit a Typhoon against a Rafale it may come down to the IR missiles or the guns which gives the Rafale the advantage with its longer range Mica IR missiles vs. the short range AIM-132 the Typhoon carries.

So get position for a profile shot with an AIM-120 or dash in for a close range knife fight with guns and AIM-132's. Also never fire on a ECM contact, it may be way off, only fire on radar contacts. Use more then one aircraft, use 2-3 from 2-3 diffrent directions. Don't be afraid to scram out till you can get more aircraft on the scene.

Hum...I got the impresion that Typhoon was more advance than Rafale, but is good to learn something new. I didn´t knew that high degree of ECM/sensors on Rafale because is hard to find some reliable info
