View Full Version : Quick Aircraft Launch
Is there a way to turn off quick aircraft launch for the PC to even things?? Itīs no fun when you plan an attack to an airfield or aircraft carrier and they get all their aircraft on the air before you can reach to bomb them.......any tips on thatŋ
In other call, is there a way to modify the ECM on the aircraft to balance things up?
Which aircraft has jamming capabilities?

You could change the Quick Aircraft Launch cheat in the FleetCommand.INI file, but this will change the launch times for you and the A.I from 30 sec to 30 min I think.

Or you could try playing with the db editor to modify the scensors or radar detection percentage, but be WARN you can mess up the game by change the db files and NWP will not support any modifications you make to the db files. :D
Thank for the reply.......itīs doesnīt work I want to play with quick launch off both side like it should be but the PC always got quick launch ON so that is what I want to even

Just a warning, quick launch only works for the player side. The AI side quick launches regardless of the options settings. Just a little game engine "feature".

Oh right I wasn't to shore if the quick launch work for both, but now we know niceone Mike. Do you think there may be a way of changing this? :)
I support the last request ...in long raids (like falkland) it becames odious to attack an airfield or carrier with some package and get all her aircraft on the air first

Nope, its a "feature" (read "bug") in the game engine. Wish I could.

Oh will that a shame, I guess there going to be a lot of things we can't change in the game, anyway thanks for letting me know, because I was going to have a play around with it :)

I was not aware the the Computer could Quick launch no matter what my settings were one.
I alwaysd thought that it had to do the smae 30 minute wait that I used.
Here'e question then...what setting do you guys use for realism then.
I want to be realistic, but if the computer cheats then there ought to be some middle ground somewhere.
What do you guys do about your air planning?
Thinking in that line....you can use the large/medium airbase with LONG taxi delay for the PC to simulate this behavior...
Also would be nice to have real damage to aircraft bases so you could damage the aircraft inside hehe..itīs seem also a bug on FC engine
