Has anyone else had problem getting on to Microsoft Website? I have try lots of times today, but I just can't get the site to load. :confused::(:mad:

Any ideas.

Microsofts main site came up just fine for me today.:

I still can't get it to load I dono why. :confused::confused:

I can't load some other sites has well, might it be something to do with my ISP?

Hello,

Sounds like your IPs' DNS lookup server may be having temporary issues -- when that occurs an IP can "miss" some websites because they cannot translate to-and-from domain names and IP addresses.

Thanks for you info William Miller, very handy info. In your opinion should I wait a few days before I phone my ISP? :)

If you continued to have a number of major (like Microsoft) sites not showing up over a 48 hour period I would contact your IP, or at least check your IPs home page for any outage announcement -- a disruption of this sort should not last longer than that unless you have a really horrid internet provider, or there is some major blip in the WWW (which to my knowledge is not the case at present).

My ISP is AOL and it isn't has good has it was when I first signed up with them. :(

It seen to be ok now, after playing around with it for a bit. :)
