To all of our service men and women, my deepest thanks and wishes for a safe, healthy and relaxing Independence Day celebration. To all our friends abroad, have a nice weekend and stay well. To my US forum members, eat well, drink wisely and don't hurt yourself with fireworks my friends!

Happy Fourth to you, mate. I am headed to the range with my family. Seems apropos on the 4th to shoot guns.:D

Sounds like fun to me! Like I said don't get hurt with fireworks, I mean firearms. What kind of iron are you bringing?

I will be bringing my .40 cal S & W auto, my Walther P-38 along with my new .22 Browning Target. My wife will be bringing her .22 revolver.

Some people have all the fun! Afterwards I recommend you relax with a good bottle of wine and some nicely grilled meats (preferably a steak done Tuscan style with a little extra virgin olive oil and rosemary rubbed on.) Living well is the best revenge as they say.:D

We have some steaks that my wfe is going to marinate, then I will grill them. The marinade consists of garlic, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, onion, pepper, paprika and coarse ground pepper along with beef bouillion. And of course, good Italian olive oil.

She is a reasonable shot... However, being a viking, put a sword or an axe in her hand and LOOK OUT:eek::p
