The year is 1944 and a U.S. Bomber squadron consisting of B-24's is making a run from England to Berlin. The Bombers make their approach to Germany, and supprisingly meet no fighter resistance. The pilot and bomber see their target, a large factory that has somehow been missed by every other bomber. The pilot turns his aircraft accordingly and gives the order to open the bomb bay doors. The doors open without any problems. The pilot then tells the bomber that he can release the bombs when ready, but the bomber replies to the pilot that he can no longer see the target in his scoap. The pilot confirms and looks at the target. Judging from his expierience he decides that he is in the right position and orders the bombs to be released. The bomber confirms and releases the bombs. The bombs release, but do not fall.
Everything on the plane is working right with no malfunctions once so ever. The plane is carrying a full load of actual bombs. Why did the bomber say that he could not see the target, and why did the bombs not fall after being released?

The year is 1942, and Germany is at the height of its strength. A refugee, who is working for local resistance is trying to return from an intelligence mission inside of Germany. He has mannaged to escape detection so far, but he has one last obsticle to get past. Between him and his fellow resistance leaders is a rather large revine. This revine runs along the German, Austria boarder, and is nearly 50 miles long, and over 200 feet straight drop. The man knows that German security forces are after him, and will catch him soon if he does not get across the Revine. He does not have time to go around the revine, and it is impossible to climbe down. The only option is a single bridge that crosses the Revine. The Germans have a single guard post watching this bridge on the German side. The Guard has simple orders. Anyone trying to escape from Germany is to be shot on sight. Anyone trying to enter Germany is to be stopped and ordered to return to Austria.
The bridge is nearly 900 feet across (3 football fields), and it takes approximatly 10 minutes to cross this bridge at a dead run. The Guard has a strict patrol that he conducts. He leaves his guard shack every 5 minutes to look at the bridge and do a quick patrol. He then returns to the shack and waits 5 minutes to repeat. This means that no one can get across the bridge without being seen by the guard and then shot. The Refugee has a pistol, but he is out of ammunition due to a small fire fight with local security forces. The guard is a trained marksman, and the chances of the man being able to sneek up on the guard and attack him are vary slim. This also means that the guard will not miss if he sees the man trying to cross the bridge.
How does the man get across the bridge?
(I do not know if the ravine actually exsist, so do not try to get technical with me. It exsist for the sake of the riddle.)
You will probably need to take some Tylenol for this one.

The refugee waits until the guard has gone on his patrol. When he returns, the refugee acts like he is coming from Austria. When the guard sees him, he will tell him to return

You are an invetigator, and you have been called to investigate a possible murder. The man was found by farmer in the middle of a field. When you arrive, you notice that their are no tracks leading to the man, and it rained the day before making the field vary muddy. This means that the man may have been killed more than a day ago, but you can not draw conclusions as of yet. The killers may have simply covered their tracks, or maybe the farmer did it and drove the man out their on a tractor. Every bone in the mans body is broken, but other than that, there are no signs of foul play. No gun shot wounds, or knife wounds, and no signs of why the bones are broken. Normaly a person would have lots of bruses from the beating, but this man has none. All that the man has is an closed back pack, and his clothes. No keys, wallet, or anything else. This could be a sign of robbery. You order an autopsy done, and begin to question anyone in the area. No one ever noticed anything unusual in the last couple of days. The autopsy says that the man has only been dead for a couple of hours.
How did the man die?
Who killed him, if he was murdered?
Was it a suicide?
How did he get into the field without leaving any tracks?
Did the farmer do it?
Good Luck.

Sounds like he was skydiving and his chute didn't open. That explains how he got in the field with no tracks and after the rains. I have no idea if a skydiver normally carries a wallet and keys with him on a jump.
