Here are a couple of articles about preliminary information on the Air France crash in 2009. I am attempting to find an article in an established flight magazine on-line.

It's still way too early to assign blame to both equipment and crew. They really need to take the data, insert it into the flight sim and try to reason out what happened, if the information is complete enough for that purpose. I sense by their statements that they have a reasonably complete picture of the events which led to the crash.
