Coming new version:solitaire advanced play?

Hi.I am interested in minatures naval game, I read Patrick Collins NWS naval warfare WW1 review (by following your link). He said, "It's also very usable by miniatures players. It could be used as a miniatures rule set as is."That version allowed solitaire for basic play, but not advanced. Will the new version allow solitaire on an board with hexes (advanced uses a hex board)? Thanks!

You can use the basic rules as guidelines to play out battles on a hex map if playing solitaire. Another option would be to use the rules we designed for Nights of Fury (Guadalcanal surface battles wargame) for solitaire play using a range band system. Once we start working on the v2.0 NW series rules we can see about possibly upgrading the solitaire rules.
