Have any of you chaps manage to get this scenario to work for more than a few minutes, every time I play the mission its CTD. :(

Anyone know why? I haven't had a look at the mission yet, so I thought I would ask.

Same here. It also happens in Persian Rug Burn, but it takes a little longer in that scenario. My guess is that it's the same kind of thing that happens in the Operation Morvarid-Iraq. One or more of the units (most probably aircraft or missiles) has a bug that causes the CTD (like the Iranian F-4s in Morvarid). Either that, or you simply can't have a stable scenario with that many units.

Thanks I thought it was me, I think I'm going check the units in the mission, to see if its that.
