Any word on Mr. Cobb's review? Have I missed it somehow?

Not yet.. he is still working on it. Remember, this is not an arcade game so a good review takes a bit of time. ;)

I hope he didn't forget us.

Jim responded to my email;

"I'll make it my top priority."

Thanks Chris. I'm looking forward to it even though I already own and play the game. I need to know what I am missing.

By the way I have made a campaign for the flight simulator IL2 1946 on the combat life of Richard Bong. It is set in the PTO. There was a sudden uptick in people downloading the campaign that puzzled me. Why now all of a sudden did the downloads jump from 1 or 2 a day to 12 or more?

I think the answer is the HBO Series Pacific. This has heightened the awareness of the PTO. Bong Fought in the PTO. All of his mission are in the PTO.

My suggestion is that now would be a good time to piggyback on this series. Maybe by putting out a PTO centered "what if" campaign or a new canned scenario for SAS.

Guys.. Jim Cobb already told me its on his priority list so all we can do is wait for him to finish it. That is all the news I will have unti he is done.

With a game like SAS, any reviewer will have to spend a good deal of time with it if they want an accurate review.

Absolutely.. Jim Cobb is a professional reviewer, not someone that posts reviews that are only suitable for flash bang arcade games.

I have had some contact with Jim Cobb imthe last week or so. He does still intend to issue his review, I just don't know when.
