Plans to add carriers?

I am considering purchasing this game and would like to ask whether it is possible to play or model carrier battles within this game? If this is not possible, are there plans to add this in the future?

Not yet, but it is being considered at a later date. We also have plans of a compatibility option with SAS-WW2 which also has CV tactical combat resolution.
