View Full Version : Game shut down on it's own/ plus torpedo question?

I was playing the game, and at turn 36 it shut down on me. It was going to calculate the results of the next turn, and it just shut down, no error messages or anything. :confused:

Also, I'm wondering about the torpedo's hit accuracy. The same game I was playing when it shut down, during it I got hit by 3 torpedo's from almost 30'000 yards away.

We did come across an issue that could cause a CTD occurance near the end of a battle when all player ships are disengaging from combat during recent testing - it has been fixed and is part of v1.06 which will be posted tonight.

As to the torpedo PK.. if you could, email me the AAR so I can review it. If it was an IJN torpedo then it is possible that hits could be scored even at those ranges, but the odds are *very* low. The AI in v1.06 has also been adjusted a bit in terms of selecting targets and firing ranges when using longer ranged torpedoes.

Oh ok, all of the ships were disengaging when this happened. Good to hear it's fixed. :D

The AAR has been sent. They were IJN ships that hit me with torpedos, but at a range of almost 30,000 yards and with a wide spread they just still got 2 hits in the same salvo. Not to mention a additional hit from a different salvo at the same time. All against one ship too, either incredibly lucky or maybe not.

The torpedo long range attack PK has also been corrected in v1.06. I just wanted to make sure what you were reporting was something I already took care of in v1.06.
