Just got the game last week and I have to say, it's great! The tactical map adds a lot to the situational awareness for me.
Anyway, I'm having a problem with the display ship function (F4). When I click on an enemy ship, there's no problem, the ship displays the data and the 3D picture of the ship. When I click on one of my own ships however, the display goes blank with a LMB continue prompt. When I left click again, the ships stats display, but there is no 3D depiction of it.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Hi Mscano, note, there are 2 pages to each ship display. Your ships also display according to how they are detected by enemy ships. If you think your seeing something not quite right take a screenshot and post it as an attachement here on the forums or email it to me. Thanks.

Here are screens of what I'm talking about. I'm the English andd the French are the enemy.
Here's the initial screen:

Then I hit F4:

Then I click on the destroyer:

Then I LMB click and get this:

When I do it for an enemy ship, I get this screen:

Why would the ship icons disappear for friendly ships but not for enemy?

Which screen mode are you using? Check your screenmode.txt file in the game directory. I recommend using "Scaled" or "Window" mode. On some video card/monitor configurations "Full" screen mode causes some graphical anomolies. Scaled mode however, especially on digital monitors with scaling features, allows you to "click drag" the size of the viewable screen to any size you want.
Let me know if that helps.

Thanks! That did it. I changed from full to window and it works fine now. How do I switch to scaled though? I switched to full by typing "full" in the screenmode txt file. Do I type "scaled" or "scale"?
My normal screen res is 1280X1024, 32bit color at 60 htz.

Type "Scaled" - this is also noted in the online manual. Thanks.
