Updated Tsushima

I was about to purchase the Tsushima expansion and found that a new version is due out by mid next year. I understand that it would take the NW series for not only Tsushima, but also WW1 and WW2 and bring it up to the level of Nights of Fire? Also, would put a operational and strategic level to these games? Me likey!!:D

My only concern would be for those of us who already own the original versions of this game. Would it then cost an additional $60 apiece to update what we already have?

Actually, the original NW-WW1/2 full printed editions were only $39.99 each, not $60. As we are still early in the process of updating the editions to v2.0 we have not had a chance to discuss "upgrade" options yet, but it will definitely be considered if feasible.

We are planning on launching a "strategic" level design that will be compatible with the NW-WW1/2 v2.0 series. To clarify, the strategic designs will be able to be played as an entire wargame on their own or you will be able to use the NW v2.0 rules to play out the tactical battles. This is the present plan.

Sorry about the misquote, I couldn't remember how much they were. All sounds good, I will wait until the upgraded Tsushima is ready, and will definately get the upgrades for the other two. Let us know how things are progressing!

No problem.. our next board wargame priority production right now is NW-WW3 (tentative name - the title will be changed soon.) After that game is published we will start work on upgrading the NW-WW1/2 editions up to v2.0 - including the Tsushima expansion.
