Hello,
I do not believe you can remove a division in the FS editor once you click the "create" button. You can add or remove ships from a division, reposition it, change the formation/division speed/etc, but you cannot completely delete it once it is created and added to a scenario.

There is a way you can get around it manually. If you edit the .scn file using notepad, then you can reduce the number of divisions by one, find and delete that division, and renumber all subsequent divisions and the ships in those divisions. For example, say there were 8 divisions and you deleted division 4, then you would have to renumber division 5 to 4 (including all it's ships) and similarly for divison 6 to 5 and division 7 to 6. (FS numbers the first division as division 0).

What if i want to change the names of the ships ? (eg. in the Jutland 46 scenario, HMS Hood was added to a division 5 times to resemble Beatty's Cats and were then renamed to HMS Glorious, HMS Furious, etc) How do i do this ?
I would like to make a Tsushima scenario where i would use IJN Nagato 4x to resemble Togo's battleship division and then rename them to Mikasa, Asahi, Shikishima etc.

To edit the name of a ship, open the scenario file using Notepad. Change the ship's name by changing the name listed next to SHORTNAME.
A couple caveats. Don't change any other ship attributes besides the SHORTNAME as this can cause the game to crash when the scenario is loaded. Also, if you reload the scenario in the editor after renaming ships, it can cause some weird effects. So usually wait until I'm sure the scenario plays to my satisfaction before renaming ships

Hi killerr
To make it clearer for you as it is not obvious, what you first need to do is use the scenario editor to take an existing scenario which you want to use as a starting point and then modify it. What you need to do is edit the division in which you want to have your multiple ships. The scenario editor will not let you add more ships of the class than there were originally, it does not let you select the name twice. So in order to get the x,y,z coordinates, etc correct you need to add in some dummy ships. So say for example you wanted 4 Nagato's and of course there were only two. Using the starting scenario and one of it's divisons you would add ships Nagato, Mutsu and two others. These two others can be any other FS ship, e.g. Yamato and Musashi or even two DD's. Then delete the original ships that were in that division so that you are now left with your 4 (two Nagatos and two others). Do the same for the opposing fleet. Then save the modified scenario (preferably under a new name). Then exit the scenario editor (do not go back to FS), open notepad and edit your divisions. For the divison which you want to have 4 Nagatos, select the Nagato and copy all information apart from the x,y,z coordinates and paste this over the information for the 3rd and 4th ships. Then rename the 3rd and 4th ships (shortname only is to be changed) and give them your new fictional names. Similarly if you had any additional duplicates for the opposing fleet or in any other divisions. Save your revised scenario and now you can use it is FS and you will have 4 Nagatos.
