View Full Version : Space Siege
I got Space Siege (http://www.spacesiege.com/) yesterday (Friday, September 11, 2009) in the mail, because I purchased it new from another online store. Well, I didn't actually play the game until today (Saturday, September 12, 2009), and it runs fine (other than it being extremely laggy, even on the lowest graphics settings and in the smallest window), except for this one error I just got. I was playing it on single player and was entering "Medical Center Delta" and it crashed the game. Here is a screenshot of the error:

The error you are experiencing is a memory protection error in the game, I believe the manufacturer has put out a fix. I suggest going to the website and downloading the fix or asking their support group.

If there was a patch, it would have autodownloaded when I connected to the multiplayer.
"sorry but must go to sleep now"
At least it apologized for crashing. lolol

I suspect that the Virtual memory allocation error is derived from the games attempt to access your swap file. As an application loads, it requests memory from the operating system, part of which will be swap file. That is virtual memory. You might try doing a error check on your hard disk. Your swap file location on your hard disk might have a bad sector.
Suggest also searching google for that error and the game name, there might be others having a similar problem with solutions.
