There was a show on last evening - aircraft designers built a scale mock up of a Horton flying wing - I've heard it designated HO-229 and GO-229 (for Gotha). They ran tests on it looking at radar cross section and other factors. Pretty interesting.
I had not heard that they had done mock dogfights with ME-262's and kicked it's butt in turn radius and speed.
The RCS was about 20% lower than was typical for an aircraft of the day. I don't know if they used the correct radar frequency, pulse width or repetition frequency for the test - but I think they did.
I knew it was an interesting aircraft - even more so than I thought.

It's supposed to be on our National Geographic tonight. I am going to the San Diego Aerospace Museum to see the replica that they built for the program. It is on display. I will try to get pictures and upload to my flicr account.
