Fyi I thought I'd just make three quick points regarding the manual:
1. The manual has not been updated for a while, so the primary help remains the in-game help files, which are always updated with each new update. The manual WILL be updated very soon - probably with the next update due out in a couple of weeks. Until then, please remember that the manual does not cover many of the enhancements introduced over the last couple of months, mainly on the tactical-operational side. We will introduce a version number to the manual to let you know to which code version of the game the manual has been updated to.
2. Please note also that although some players like to read the full manual (or the full in-game help guide) before attempting play, SAS has been designed to allow you to dive in very quickly. The context help is your window on to knowing what you need, when you need it.
3. We are going to try to reduce the physical size of the manual (though not the contents) in the near future by reducing the font size a tad.
