Scaffold,
Sometime near the middile or end of 1906 the Gromoboi received optical rangefinders (believed to be ~ 5'/1.5m models) on mounts; prior to that it had only smaller handheld rangefinders that were not so useful. The main battery also had new shells available sometime in late-1905 or 1906 that slightly improved penetration at longer ranges/were ballistically more efficient. Together these allowed for a modest increase in max gunnery range from 14000 yards to ~ 16500 yards or so.
However for NW-WW1 or Tsushima game purposes the Main Battery factor would effectively round to the same "2" value, so no real changes are needed for use in Tsushima.
