Hello, I don't own Fighting Steel yet, pondering whether to buy one or not, I do however own all the Great Naval Battles game as originals.

Now what I'm wondering is, can you pretty much let the AI manage everything about your ships if you want to, as in the GNB series? Or do you have to manage the ships yourself, like movement etc?

Thanks for any helpful reply!

Note, we sell the game on our store here; http://www.nws-online.net

You control your ships maneuvering by division but you can have the AI control the gunnery of each division reducing the need to select targets for each ship. The interface makes playing the simulation very easy however.

Hello,

Fighting Steel also gives you the option to operate in "Commander" mode: in this mode the player only directly controls a single ship division while the AI fully controls the rest of your sides' ships. That supplies an added dimension to the "fog of war" that can be interesting to experience.
