I thought I would start a discussion on the course of armored warfare, combined arms. Discussioin can include combined arms operations, weaponry and its evolution, theoretical operations like an attack on NATO by Soviet forces, and 21st century, future combat systems and the operations they will be designed for. Discussion should include the early years from 1914 through the formative interwar years of 1918 through 1939. Armor theorist like Hart, Fuller, Tukhashevsky, Martel, Patton, Chaffee along with Guderian and Von Seekt would be good subjects.

I think expanding on this topic would be interesting.. the evolution of combined armes since WW1 when the airplane could first take part in major land and naval battles.

How about another thread? Armored Warfare and combined arms from 1914 to 1945?

I think the evolution of combined arms warfare throughout military history can all be discussed on one thread.
Thanks.
